Whatever route you take, be sure to check for yourself if the route suggested is the way you really prefer to take! The last part of the trip with it’s winding roads has to be taken in account and if this may pose problems (for you or your children), it can be very much worth your while, even time wise, to take a little detour so as to have a simpler and more smooth journey!
For the long trip from the North we advice you to take the route de soleil until exit Bolene and than follow PontStEsprit and Ales. You can always take Clermont-Ferrant and Paris on your way back.
